Born in Havana, Cuba, and arriving in the United States in the 1960s with my parents and younger sister, I bring a rich cultural background and decades of experience to the real estate industry. After settling in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2002, I have proudly called this beautiful state home.
My real estate journey began in Miami, Florida, in 1997, and I earned my North Carolina real estate license in 2003. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless clients through a wide variety of their real estate needs. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I provide personalized services to a diverse clientele, ensuring clear communication, professionalism, and exceptional results every step of the way.
As a certified notary for the state of North Carolina, I offer additional services to meet the unique needs of my clients.
On a personal note, I am a proud parent of three grown children and a grandparent to four wonderful grandchildren. I cherish summer vacations with my family to the beach and mountains, creating memories that last a lifetime. I also have a passion for thrifting, decorating, crafting, painting furniture, and staying healthy—all while enjoying life to the fullest.

Broughton High School and Peace College for part of her undergraduate work finished up at
Mary Baldwin in Staunton VA with a BA in Business Management and Marketing. Later on she
earned her MBA from Meredith College in Raleigh.
Pettis is married to Roger Montague and they now reside in Cary NC along with their Black Lab
named Sam. They have two grown sons. One son, Preston, is single and lives in Durham and is
a Landscape Architect who owns his own business. Their other son, Brad, has a lovely wife,
Stacy, and they have two daughters, Halle and Emmy, who live near them in Cary. Since all their
family live close by, Pettis and Roger enjoy a lot of family activities. They enjoy making special
family dinners and participating in all family activities such as sports games, dance
performances, band concerts, art shows, game nights and other special family get togethers.
Pettis likes to spend her free time shag dancing (Carolina Beach Music dance) and volunteering
her time as the VP of the Bass Lake Area Shag Club. She especially loves attending SOS
events (Shagging On the Strand) in Myrtle Beach SC.
Pettis started her journey in real estate and associated with Keller Williams in Apex. In mid
summer of 2024 she started with Legacy Property Management and is enjoying learning this
area of the real estate business as it meets a great need for housing for individuals and families
in the the fast growing Raleigh area. She especially enjoys helping people find places where
they can settle in and enjoy their lives in the Raleigh area.
